Are your brave enough to Bet Your Followers? This scares me for some reason but I like it. It’s like wanting to push a button that says “Don’t Push Button”.
Guy #1: Yo, why haven’t you followed me on Twitter yet?
Guy #2: Man, I don’t even pay attention to you when you talk!

Tumblr's Retention Rate Beats Twitter
more proof the web is becoming more visual. i for one am more complex than 140 character bursts and look forward to the day i no longer need a twitter account.

this is high quality work. as a constructive criticism, some of the predictions could be better filtered. still though, very useful for deciphering all these 2010 predictions getting thrown around on twitter lately.

TechCrunch? Well that just devalued the whole list.
But in all seriousness… if I were a client and I saw this list, I would see the presence of TechCrunch as a sign that the active user base of Twitter is still the Valley in-crowd. Sure, there’s much more to it than that, but this would definitely weight on my investment decisions.
top 50 lists are pr strategy. not much reliability or validity here in terms of the research though. this list gives no indication of whether the tweets are positive or negative about the brand. the value of this is list lies in its indication of which consumer brands are actively engaging on twitter.
